The front of the IAMRUNBOX is a protective hard-shell which is water resistant and lightweight at the same time. It has a rough, textured pattern on it which is anti-fingerprint. It has the IAMRUNBOX rubberised logo sewed onto it which is orange and white on the orange version of the backpack and all-black on the black colourway.
There are two outer straps included which are detachable. These straps are designed for you to clip accessories such as safety lights onto or for you to place an additional bag under the straps for extra carrying space.
The ergonomic back panel is soft to the touch with four, raised, padded pods on the corners to increase airflow while it’s on your back.
These raised pods also prevent sweat from your back getting onto the entire back panel.
This area is designed to hold your clothes. It can easily fit two shirts, a pair of long pants and socks.
Unfortunately the main compartment is too small to fit a pair of shoes so you either have to wear your running trainers at work or you have to carry an extra bag with your work shoes in it.
There is a zippered pouch on the outside of the compartment which is perfect for a small towel.
This is where you can store your laptop which can be up to 15 inches in size. An elasticated band prevents the laptop from moving around while on the run.
The two other pouches below can fit your wallet, keys, cellphone, sunscreen etc.
The padded straps are comfortable to wear and don't dig into your shoulders. The fit is highly customisable and the straps can be adjusted at both the top and the bottom so you can get the perfect fit.
The are reflective pieces on the front of each strap for night time visibility. You can also attach other accessories to the reflective pieces such as IAMRUNBOX’s water bottle holder.
The sternum strap stops the straps from sliding off your shoulders. It can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally.
The buckle of the strap doubles as a whistle so you can let pedestrians know that you are coming up behind them without shouting.
The two large compartments are situated for easy reachability and can be used to store your cell phone, wireless earphones, mints or hand sanitiser.
If you still use wired earphones, you can thread the wire through the rubber headphone opening.
A great feature of these waistband compartments is that if you don’t want to use them, they can be hooked together to sit flush against the back panel so that they stay out of the way.
When in use, the waist band compartments are held in place by a buckle. The straps are adjustable and the excess strap leftover after tightening can be tucked inside the pouch pockets.
The IAMRUNBOX Backpack PRO 2.0 is a durable, well-designed run commuter backpack which has an array of useful features. It is comfortable to wear, rugged and has enough space for all your essentials.
It’s the all-in-one solution to getting all your belongings to work and wrinkle free. It has a very premium look and feel to it, deserving of its $189 price tag.
If you're a run commuter, you won't find a better designed, more well thought out running backpack than this.
The highlight of the Backpack 2.0 is the highly customisable fit. The sternum straps, waist straps and main backpack straps are all adjustable so you can get the perfect fit for maximum comfort.
By using the Backpack 2.0 to run to your destination, you will not only get fitter but you will also be saving the environment.
